  My scoliosis has impacted my life since high school. Wearing a back brace and dealing with pain is day to day occurrence. My Aunt suggested that I go and see her chiropractor, Dr. Dombek. Seeing Dr. Jo has decreased my pain immensely. When I came into the clinic I was suffering from a neck injury due to a car accident, as well as, headaches caused by TMJ. At first, I was skeptical of the activator method because I had always gone to chiropractors who used the manual hands on technique. However, after seeing the doctor I now believe that the activator is a more effective and more precise way of treating clients. Dr. Joe went beyond just chiropractic work, he also massaged my jaw to help relieve the tension that was causing my headaches and jaw pain. He also showed me how to care for it myself. Dr. Joe also provided me with a TMJ aide to wear at night so I wouldn't grind or clench my teeth in my sleep.
Previously, I was unsatisfied with the bed side manner of my chiropractors. I was used to the 2 minutes of "small talk" followed by a quick adjustment. This was not the case with Dr. Joe. He stayed with me for close to 45 minutes and made sure that my whole body was aligned, not just my neck and my jaw. Dr. Joe also helped to educate me on what I could do to keep my body healthy and pain free. Being in the health and fitness industry myself I know the difference between good health care and bad health care. Dr. Joe is one of the best Chiropractors in the business. I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality health care, good repore, and an educational experience that they can carry with them the rest of their lives.
